SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Utah will elevate its role in the AI landscape by hosting its 2025 AI Summit, “Utah’s Pro-Human Leadership in the Age of AI,” on Dec. 1-2, 2025, at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. Hosted by the Utah Department of Commerce and its Office of Artificial Intelligence Policy, the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, and the Nucleus Institute, this event invites key figures from government, business, and academia to engage in pivotal conversations about the future of artificial intelligence.

“Utah aims to establish itself as a national leader in pro-human and pro-innovation AI initiatives,” said Margaret Woolley Busse, executive director of the Utah Department of Commerce. “By promoting discussions and collaborations at this summit, we are laying the groundwork for AI to contribute to impactful growth and societal well-being.”

The 2025 Utah AI Summit will feature a robust lineup of speakers and panelists, including a special keynote address from Gov. Cox and a fireside conversation with Matthew Prince, CEO of Cloudflare.
